The GM Gen 3 computer will arrive ready for your swap or stock application.
The Tune is for a stock
2002 Express Van VIN code R
with a
5.7L / 4L60E
drive train. It is for the
DBC / Drive by Cable
- Mechanical throttle body. This will work for the
Mechanical Throttle Body
engines.
This is for the L31 Chevy 350 Vortec that came in the Express vans up until 2002.
I only sell units with a Stock Tune to prevent damage to your engine.
The Following changes have been made to the program:
- VATS Disabled
- Speed Limiters set to Maximum
- Power Enrichment is Active
- Dual electric fans Enabled
- Fan 1: On@195   Off@185
- Fan 2: On@ 215  Off@205
Some of the engine electrical connections needed are :
- Mass Air Flow Sensor
- Fuel Injectors
- Idle Air Control motor
- Throttle Position Sensor
- Engine Temperature Sensor
- Front O2 Sensors
All other stock connections are not required such as Alternator codes, Fuel level and Fuel pump codes, Body Control Module codes, etc..
If you'd like to use the speedometer output from the computer, include a "Note to Seller" when purchasing that includes your rear axle ratio and your rear tire size or rear tire diameter in inches. The speedometer output isn't necessary for the computer to operate the engine, it's only necessary for the correct speedometer reading.
