    Description

    This historic Washington State license plate is the "brother" of the plate that we recently sold.
    It is exactly the same as the other plate but it does not have the expiration stickers because it was mounted on the front of the vehicle.
    This would be the perfect license plate to mount on the wall of
    a music studio or
    an auto repair shop!  "We are here to be sure that your car is "IN TUNE!"
    This plate was mounted for many years on the car of a guy who tuned pianos.
    He has since retired, and this particular plate expired in October of 1986.  He has fallen on hard times now, so we will be giving all of the proceeds of the sale to him.
    Not only is the inscription “IN TUNE” unique
    , but the plate itself consists of the historic colors of green letters on a gold background; colors which are no longer used on Washington State plates.
