Vintage Skagit County 1942 Washington Passenger Vehicle License Plate Single YOM

1942 Washington Skagit County passenger vehicle Plate. Starting in 1935 Washington began County coding plates by population size. M was for Skagit Co. This is a solid plate, 100% Original. Has good solid metal with minor surface rust. No spots rusted through. Has a good look to it with a lot of original plaint. It’s very straight and flat. No cracks and no extra holes. Just a couple minor dents. These plates were used longer than other one year Washington plates because of world war 2. Most 1942 plates were used for 1943 and 44 as well. You continued to use the plate and had a window sticker for 43 And 44. Would be a great plate to have restored or to use on your survivor car.
This is legal to use in Washington state under the YOM law, Year of Manufacture. Any vehicle 30 years old or older that isn’t a daily driver can use vintage plates. A single or a pair. Any questions just ask! Sorry I don’t have the pair.
